Junior Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and control systems including transmitters, analyzers, control valves, PLC I/O, motors, MCCs and field instruments. Troubleshoots electrical faults, signal loops, control wiring and field devices. Executes calibration of pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments. Reads and interprets P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Assists with installation, testing and commissioning of E&I equipment in industrial and oil & gas facilities.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial E&I maintenance (oil & gas preferred)
• Strong knowledge of transmitters, analyzers, control valves, PLC systems and motor control
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with calibration tools and test equipment
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and safe work practices
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills
