About the Role
Job Power Group Suriname is seeking an experienced Pumpman for positions on deepwater platforms. If you are interested in working offshore, this is your opportunity to join one of our leading drilling contractors.
About the position
The Pumpman maintains and repairs the boilers and piping systems that power drilling and marine operations, and oversees the safe operation, maintenance and repair of liquid cargo transfer systems including pumps, pipelines and valves. Working alongside the Engineering Officers in the engine room, the Pumpman performs routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoots machinery failures and keeps the cargo system in safe working condition in line with strict maritime standards.

Requirements
- 5+ years demonstrable experience on a drillship or semi-submersible platform
- Speak, read and write fluent English
- Valid passport / driver's license, BOSIET/FOET, RigPass/SafeGulf and TWIC card (or willing to obtain); rigging certificate preferred
- Able to pass a medical examination and a 10-panel drug test for offshore work
- Knowledge and skills to perform the role in full compliance with all safety standards
