Maintenance Technician (Offshore)

The maintenance technician handles engine room and machinery space work aboard offshore FPSOs and large seagoing vessels. Day-to-day tasks include system prep and shutdown, scheduled and unplanned maintenance under PTW procedures, machining, welding, and general upkeep. Depending on qualifications, the technician may also stand watch as junior watchkeeper.

Requirements

• Three years' experience as a watchkeeping Engine Room rating (STCW Reg. AIII/4) or EOOW (STCW Reg. AIII/1), OR
• General maintenance skills including fitting and coded welding qualification
• VLCC or large seagoing vessel Engine Room or FPSO operations experience desirable
• English proficiency minimum A1 level (CEFR)
• Medical fitness for offshore work
