Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

The technician maintains and repairs heavy-duty excavation equipment, primarily Kobelco excavators. This includes diagnosing problems in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine systems. Routine servicing and preventive maintenance fall under their scope. They conduct pre-delivery inspections and handle customer service calls nationwide. The role requires completing service reports and keeping accurate equipment records.

Requirements

• Experience as a heavy-duty equipment technician or mechanic
• Knowledge of excavators and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
