Drilling Rig Mechanic

About the position

As a Rig Mechanic you perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs and associated equipment. You troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out the necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance, using diagnostic tools — including an ohmmeter — to assess electrical systems and components.

Requirements

• 5+ years demonstrable experience on a drillship or semi-submersible platform
• Speak, read and write fluent English
• Valid passport / driver's license, BOSIET/FOET, RigPass/SafeGulf and TWIC card (or willing to obtain); rigging certificate preferred
• Able to pass a medical examination and a 10-panel drug test for offshore work
• Knowledge and skills to perform the role in full compliance with all safety standards
