Certified Welder

The welder performs welding and fabrication tasks to assemble, repair, and modify drilling tools, oilfield equipment, and related components. Work includes inspection of welded components for defects, collaboration with machine shop teams on threading and machining processes, and maintenance of welding equipment.

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a welder
• Valid welding certificate from an accredited institution
• Knowledge of welding procedures, materials preparation, and pre-treatment processes
• Proficiency with welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
• Experience with various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Understanding of safety protocols in manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control measures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards
• Physical capability for sustained manual work
