HSE Superintendent

The HSE Superintendent leads and coordinates the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across the project. The position provides leadership and direction to HSE personnel, project supervision, employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, client, and company requirements.

Requirements include

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HSE experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, mining, or other high-risk environments
• Previous experience in HSE Superintendent, Senior HSE Supervisor, HSE Manager, or equivalent leadership position preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction/industrial safety requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action processes
• Experience managing HSE programs on medium to large-scale projects
• Experience supervising and mentoring HSE personnel
• Experience managing subcontractor HSE performance
• Strong understanding of PPE, fall protection, confined space, excavation, electrical safety, lifting and rigging, hot work, lockout/tagout, and other critical safety programs
• Ability to conduct effective HSE inspections, audits, observations, and investigations
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HSE management software
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
