Telescopic Crane Operator-Driver (40-150t)

Operates and drives truck-mounted telescopic cranes from 40 to 150 tonnes on mining and construction sites. This is a combined operator-driver role: drives the unit to the work location, sets up on outriggers, reads load charts and carries out the lift.

Covers pre-use inspections, rigging checks and working to the lift plan with the banksman and slinger. Both road driving and lifting duties are part of the position.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience operating mobile telescopic cranes
• Fluent English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Valid crane operator certification and a driving licence for the vehicle class
• Able to read and work to load charts and lift plans
• Valid passport / driver's license
• Able to pass a medical examination and drug test
