About the Role

The production technician operates the vessel's process and utility systems while following all procedures and regulatory requirements. Starting up, running, monitoring and shutting down these systems falls to this role. The technician watches process parameters, takes samples, and troubleshoots issues. Keeping discharge water quality within spec matters daily. Operating electrical and hydraulic control panels and safety systems is part of the work. Accurate production reports go in on time.

Maintenance and equipment upkeep consume a good portion of the week. Cleaning, painting, blasting, greasing, and preserving topside gear keeps things running. The technician isolates equipment for maintenance work and reinstates it afterward. Working under Permit to Work procedures is standard. Clear communication with the maintenance crew matters when jobs overlap. Emergency response duties fall to this position as well.
