Mechanical Supervisor (O&M)

The Mechanical Supervisor handles preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment at a power generation facility. Work covers troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment when it fails. The supervisor uses computerized plant management systems to log faults, request materials, and document completed work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment according to maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning mechanical plant equipment
• Utilize plant management systems for fault reporting and work tracking
• Ensure compliance with plant safety regulations and permit-to-work systems
• Maintain technical documentation including operating manuals, technical references, and maintenance records
• Supervise maintenance operations and coordinate with internal and external technical partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in industrial maintenance
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within power generation, industrial plants, or comparable heavy industries
• Working experience in service and maintenance of industrial plants
• Supervisory experience helpful but not required
